Woman Finds Hidden Letter from Chinese Labor Camp Inside Kamart Product
Oregon native Julie Keith has found herself in the middle of one of China's biggest controversies, the persecution of the Falun Gong meditation practice. It all started more than a year ago when she purchased a 17-piece graveyard kit at a local Kmart. It was sitting in storage for a year until this past October. She was just about to donate it because it was collecting dust, but decided to use it for her daughter's fifth birthday party, which falls right before Halloween. [Julie Keith, Portland, Oregon]: "And as I opened some of the Styrofoam headstones, a note popped out. I opened the note and it was from this person pleading for help in the labor camp in China and wasn't sure what to do with it." The letter, written at the Masanjia Labor Camp in Shenyang, northeast China, paints a grizzly picture. "If you occasionally buy this product, please kindly resend this letter to the World Human Right Organization. Thousands people here who are under the persecution of the Chinese Communist Party Government will thank and remember you forever." The letter claims detainees work 15-hour days and are paid less than $2 USD a month for forced labor. It says thousands are held there, and that many are persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. And it doesn't end there. It goes on to say , "People who work here, suffer punishment 1-3 years averagely, but without Court Sentence (unlaw punishment). Many of them are Falun Gong practitioners, who are totally innocent people only because they have different believe to CCPG. They often suffer more punishment than others." [Julie Keith, Damascus, Oregon]: " The first thing I did was Google the labor camp and it horrified me... some of the stories coming from there. But it really made me happy that I don't live in a country where that kind of thing happens." China's labor re-education system is notorious for rights abuses. The system is used heavily in the Communist regime's persecution of the Falun Gong spiritual practice. In 2008, the US State Department estimated up to half of the 200,000 registered detainees in Chinese labor camps were Falun Gong adherents. [Julie Keith, Damascus, Oregon]: "I was aware there were prison camps and forced labor, but just not anything so horrific." Julie says she's she spoken to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations, who are now looking into the claims. Sears Holdings Corporations, which runs Kmart, has also said it is holding its own investigations. i don't trust any stories told by FaLunGong.

That is why I don't buy "Made in China" any more. If I bought from them, I would support this industrial enslavement and murdering of innocent people by harvesting organs from them while they are alive and selling them.

Labor Camps coming to America soon.

This is why my country is against communism, the more I learn about it, the more I despise it. Communism by definition is the act of taking ones freedom. Disgusting.
-
This is going to happen RIGHT HERE IN THE UNITED STATES to Gun owners, conservatives and anyone that's proud to be a straight White male! Forced labor FEMA camps with gas chambers are being set up, and they will be run by Democrats if Hillary Clinton gets elected President.
-
another typical anti china propaganda.

The American Government are the worst hypocrites on earth. They have a ban on anything involving Cuba, but trade with China - far worse in human rights violations.

Countries that want to grow up, they need to plan and sacrifice (unfortunately cost much in the Chinese population).
Let's think about it, China is using slave, however they are paid and these slaves are the Chinese themselves.
In Europe and the U.S. also have used slave, but are not paid and were Africans and Asians, and the latter is mainly chinese, who made the Transcontinental Railroad that made the U.S. grew much; just the U.S. who are more critical of China in over slavery. -
hauhauhauhau........ kkkkkk ...... ........
I doubt very much this news, one chinese prisoner from Shenyang city (Northeast of China), how can he to write fluency in English!
Here had another detail that I'm sure this letter is FAKE is in his calligraphy, when a Chinese writing English, Spanish or Portuguese, the word are more square like Chinese characters.
Another thing, when a Chinese from China continental, he writes simplified characters, however, in the letter, is the traditional characters!
I'm sure that, because I am Chinese come from Hong Kong! -
The sad thing is it's very hard for the common citizens in America to do much. Trying to avoid buying Chinese made products is almost impossible, and the big corporations, and our government just don't care enough to do anything. It's all about money.

the note is genuine. I know chinese very well and I would bet my childs life on it.

boycott china!!!

Agreed. Everyone likes Chinese slave labour, but no one mentions it because it would be politically incorrect. The morons who buy iPhones and iPads looked the other way when they were told the wage slaves working in Dickensian conditions at Foxconn are committing suicide. Apple lied in saying they did not know, to protect the shareholder in case there was a backlash. In the end, everyone loves a slave - Christians and atheists included.

Actually big business wants to get into Cuba - it's the Cuban exiles who are blocking it. In any case, we like China BECAUSE it offers slave labor. The Cubans might demand actual wages.
