You can have now your OWN Wind Power Farm on the screen of your phone with this beautiful live wallpaper https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softieriders.wind

Please develop more green energy for the planets future..

For a recent (days ago) beautiful evening low flight over several hundred big, hard-working turbines, go to my channel and click on "Breaking Wind at the Rio Vista Wind Farm."

You've not done your homework at all. Look up "Wind farm noise does harm sleep and health, say scientists" (Telegraph UK) On YouTube, watch "Voices of Tug Hill" for firsthand examples of your "rubbish." If you're concerned about wildlife, it's odd that you'd want noisy monsters sprawling over so much habitat. Few studies have been done and they can't be benign to animals with sensitive hearing. Then there are the bird and bat kills, which will only increase as more turbines are installed.
-
what you say is a load of rubbish. Wind turbines are normally placed in areas with the least population density. They are not a sore to look at actually, but what I see is progressiveness from a dead to renewable source of energy. Weighing in the consequences of global warming on people and wildlife, i would say yea, i can sacrifice a landscape of 'ugly' wind turbines than extinction of species, flooding and food shortages.

Great, ruin 20,000 acres for money and call it "green." Would you place them on ridge-tops and ruin the scenery even more? There is huge irony in the whole wind turbine business. Were they smokestacks, nobody would push the ruse of green power by ignoring physical damage to the land, plus noise and shadow flicker effects. I'd like to get a job tearing these things down, if/when it comes to that.

You're comparing darker colored, much shorter structures to stark 400-foot white towers. Wind turbines are visible from far greater distances and get installed in bucolic areas that people never expected to be industrialized. This blight occurs in *addition* to existing landscape alteration and merely expands the human footprint under a "green" badge. There is more to life than giving people electricity! An unfettered landscape is integral to QUALITY of life for many people and animals.
-
Visual pollution of the landscape is a big quality of life issue, and wind turbines are now the worst offenders. Man didn't evolve to bask in industrial landscapes. Turbine-pushers have a very odd view of the environment, as if ALL that matters is air or water pollution and "clean" electricity for growing hordes of people. Some people say they'd be fine with wind turbines on every possible ridge-line, which is a sick attitude toward nature. They have no land ethic or ecological morality.
-
Does that one negative farmer also complain about oil wells destroying the landscape? Or power lines? Or cell phone towers? Or the constant supply of noisy airplanes flying overhead no matter where you are in the US? Does he not realize all that oil the made TX rich is now partly hanging out in the atmosphere and is going to turn the state into a land where drought is so common, that farming will cease?

I miss the days when the word investment was a good thing.
-
Or we could say it's all a bunch of CRAAP!
-
they are not changing the weather negatively at all, what your talking about is HAARP, wind patterns and extreme weather have been caused by HAARP before wind turbines were even out.
-
How much are all the gigantic wind farms disrupting wind patterns and causing the extremes we are seeing today? What about generating power when it's needed most? See my amateur video on the Indiana wind farm shut down when temps are 98º!

Cool.

Bullshit.

That Dale character is a moron.

Fusion is way better...will use FAR less land, so won't be destroying the natural beauty of the environment (or harming wildlife), and nuclear fusion, using H isotopes from sea water, is way safer than uranium-based nuclear fission...and fusion gives off NO greenhouse gases...we're getting close to perfecting this technology, most likely with extremely powerful laser ignition...read more at the NIF site...

its isnt fucking pronounce turban! fuck!

have you been, or trying to get to sleep, near one of those ... well, doesnt seem like ecological to me ... the noise is highly disturbing and weird ... it is almost worse than living near a freeway.
