Wild elephant attacks and kills plantation worker

A wild elephant attacked and killed a plantation worker as he was on his way to work at Oveli, near Gudalur, Nilgiris district. Residents protested saying that they would not allow the body to be removed unless efforts were taken to chase the elephants that have camped at the area.
