White Cloud Minnow Pond
White Cloud minnows originally come from the White Cloud Mountains of China. They are much cleaner and easier to look after than Koi, and breed prolifically. The babies are electric blue. The pond is TOTALLY devoid of mosquitoes. White Clouds are used on frog farms since they do not eat tadpoles, and keep the ponds clean.

Do u feed them when they are in the pond? What? And how offend?
-
So awesome! I didn't realize the babies were electric blue :)

I don't think your tetra will get through the winter.

Love this video. Your pond is simply stunning. I never understood why people used to call them the "poor man's neon tetra".They are just beautiful if not more so in their own right! White clouds are my favourite fish. Easy to keep, peaceful and visually striking.

wow i love your pond.. i wish i had a pond like this

I keep a pond of white clouds in coastal California, and they do quite well in the winter. In less temperate climates it's a different story though and you'll have to move them inside for the winter.

Where do you live?

cool

awsome pond

That is a Java Fern not winter hardy in most areas but makes a great aquarium plant along with java moss (very easy and tolerant of lower light and no need for Co2)
-
Anyone know what that plant is. Kinda looks like an amazon?
-
They are originally coldwater fish. They can tolerate down to 40 degrees Farenheit! It gets pretty cold in Asia where they come from, i bet they can take a good amount of cold.
-
Very awesome man!!! :D

You should probably get a bigger tank. About a 10 gallon would be better for them. Not trying to sound know it allish! Just wanting to help.
-
Neat how u made it
-
yeah i think so i not sure about ponds but they are kinda cold water fish but they also can be in tropical fish tanks
-
Where is this pond? Are the winters warm for the white clouds to survive?
-
Very nice, I just put a few in my tank with three Gouramis, and they all get along great! I hope to keep just white clouds one day in a larger tank.

@littlelauren971 I would suspect a large filter to keep the water nice and clean like a tank.
