Infographics on the distribution of wealth in America, highlighting both the inequality and the difference between our perception of inequality and the actual numbers. COMMUNISM!

To my understanding, of course what people think as ideal is better than what they have. I would also say that the ceo doesnt work 380x smarter, but is 380x smarter, or is 380x more valuable to the business. The most telling of all is that the middle class and poor dont diversify. Wealth is an ocean, but you only get what you earn.

The leftist strategy is to point out any inequalities in charts that make the inequality seem as bad as possible in an attempt to bring the discussion down the lowest form of discussion.. emotion. Once in the realm of emotion, reason has no foothold and the leftist can talk vaguely about groups. "the poor" being marginalized by "the 1%" for example.
The fact of the matter is that government intervention and meddling in the market and globalism are actually responsible for this huge income inequality. When government allow free trade with nations that have a lower standard of living or terrible labour laws that don't protect their workers, companies will end up moving to those countries to produce their goods and then ship those goods back into the US without paying any tariff. The company saves money, the workers in the US loose good jobs and start earning less by working at jobs that were typically reserved for kids just entering the labour market.
If leftist politicians stopped pushing globalism on the world and started to protect their own country, then we would have companies making goods IN the country they want to sell them.. which means they would have to hire the local people and pay them wages that the local market dictates, and would only be able to sell the goods at a rate that the market, decides based upon those wages.
Income inequality is the fault of the left, and yet the left are the ones that whine about the results of their short sighted emotional policies. The left does not provide solutions, people suffer because of the left. -
Mathew 16:26 " what good is it for a man to gain the entire world yet lose his soul? what will a man give in exchange for his soul

Stop letting russians and germans into america.
-
that's why you don't settle for being middle class the point in life is to die with more money than what your parents had when you where born if we all did that we would be good but people settle for less and cry because the rich get richer how about move to some where there is work and get it done
-
How much money yearly is concidered rich/wealthy?
-
Even the top 1% want everybody to be wealthy enough to have a $600 Smartphone, a data plan, a place to live, Netflix, a new car and free time to to enjoy it so you can spend your wealth.
Henry Ford was an asshole, but he lowered the American Work Day by an hour and doubled their pay so people would have the money to buy his Cars -
You idiot that was communism not socialism, now you got these idiots in the comments confusing them.
-
What you showed as socialism was actually communism...
-
totally tiskuztink to think that some people handle money better than others
-
What a bunch of ignorant comments in here. If you don't see the problem with extreme inequality go and take some economy lessons and stop talking BS about capitalism, socialism and other concepts you don't even grasp. Funn to hear how CEO's deserve their money or how poor people deserve to be poor. Everybody just writes crap in here, because they have nothing better to do in their lives. Go read a little bit before commenting.

It's time they pay their fair share.
-
What idiots liked this video.
-
Who decides what "fair" is?
-
The amount of sheeple that are okay with our inherently unequal capitalist system is astounding in these comments.
You're really okay with the top 1% owning more than 40% of the wealth in America because they "earned it".
That money was made hundreds of years ago on the backs of slavery and indigenous genocide, and all those rich white families kept the money over the years as minorities and other marginalized groups struggled to gain any semblance of equity.
Capitalism is inherently racist, sexist and violent. The rich continue to be rich because poor people like yourselves in these comments have been indoctrinated to think that this inequality is "normal" or "fair".
In 1000-2000 years we will look back at the evils of capitalism and how it slowed the progress of humanity incredibly much like religion and slavery. FFS don't be dumbasses -
