Water Monitors "Farmed" or Captive for $175.00?? Let's get some information correct!
Farmed is NOT Captive Bred and most Water Monitors are wild caught! Eggs take 6 months to hatch and it is no easy feat to do! Farming Water Monitors is not a worthwhile endeavor in Indonesia, they can readily be found as babies in the wild. Don't feed wild animals to your captive lizard!!!!

Do you guys sell captive bred socialized Savannahs? I would totally buy one of those for 200 or more.
-
so who are the other water monitor breeders other then nerd
-
Its too bad the government has set all of these limitations on where we can own these little guys. I would love to own one! I have a 120 lb dog who roams the street with me, and that's fine, but I can't own one of these gems. That dragon is way more friendly than my cujo, lol.

thanks for dropping knowledge!!!

So underground reptiles is lying about their farm bred water monitors for $100?

Couldn't agree more
-
i think your monitor's behavior sells itself! such a charming personality.

I bout a wild caught Sumatran import from Colorado reptiles, he is extremely tame and loving, from the day I purchased him I got lucky, I watched a lot of your videos and agree with you on the CBB monitors, but I wouldn't rule out wild imports for experienced breeders or keepers, I could buy a wild import that could turn out like mine did or a CBB that could turn on me it's a role of the dice. I wouldn't suggest someone go buy a wild import who is inexperienced, because you would be in over your head water monitors are high upkeep animals, what ever the case you if you decide to get one, plan on a lot of bonding, they are very social animals, and I actually posted a vid on YouTube of mine eating a wild anole, great job nerd keep up the good work and education.

What size should a enclosure be for a fully grown adult ??
-
Wish someone, maybe myself, could breed Gould's monitors like they once did in the 1980's. Waters are awesome but too large for most enthusiasts, and I don't care too much for the expensive dwarfs or odatria.

here in indonesia wild hatch cost around 5-7$
-
OOps, I meant "FARMED"!
-
That is the best info i got about captive water monitors so far and so true id say. Thanks very much and keep the clips coming im learning so much from you and your amazing water monitors. :)
-
you get what you pay for and some people will never understand that thought process. if its worth having its not going to be cheap and when it comes to reptiles your paying for a clean bloodline and the care/attention that was taken for the animal before you take possession of it.
-
Fix the title! You got me tilted, and Im trying to study! Btw, love the videos. My Ackie isnt a large species of monitor, but your videos have still helped with my husbandry.
-
robert.. because there so cheap to sale and thousands of care etc to get it up to breeding
-
