Water Irrigation Canal and Rice Fields - Cambodia Countryside

Hi, here I am filming a water irrigation canal and fields, some planted with rice and others that will be planted soon as the rainy season (wet monsoon season) is providing the necessary water. Irrigation control and water management is vital to the success of growing rice and thousands of Cambodians grow rice to have food for their families from one growing season to the next. Rice and fish are a staple food for many Cambodians. May 28, 2013, I departed Montreal travelling to Cambodia and filming my journey.
