Wakeskating the Eighth Wonder of the World w/ Brian Grubb
For more adventure visit http://win.gs/1aXUVRM Respect for the environment was a priority from the beginning of this project! The team has assured that the plants and wildlife have neither been damaged nor disturbed at any time during the project. All agreements have been made together with the locals and under respect of their traditions and culture. Professional wakeskaters Brian Grubb (USA) and Dominik Preisner (GER) travelled to the Philippines to have an epic winch session at one of the most beautiful spots in the world. The famous rice terraces of Banaue are considered to be the Eighth Wonder of the World and were surely the perfect playground for an unique wakeskate session! _________________________________________________ Experience the world of Red Bull like you have never seen it before. I really Loved this Video. Thumbs Up for Bryan. I'm amazed he's holding a Thousand peso Bill with the picture of the Banawe Rice Terraces. He's amazed that it's real from the picture to the real scenery. Think of Red Bull, wake boarding or Mountain biking or Motocross in the Apocalypto country only higher in the Clouds.
The Tribesmen Elders Blessed red Bull for a safe activity -
I'm from the Philippines, though there are protestors in this event, I think they're over reacting or just wants to earn money from Red Bull haha. And that's what gives our country a ver very bad impression on foreign nationals. I mean a lot of people has to be paid when in fact, the people whom red Bull should Ask permission and pay off are the Tribesmen living in these mountain for years and years. I watched the video and I'm happy about it, though too bad they can't wake board a lot of the terraces or cascade downhill more. Limited.

Banaue, this is my province. And I don't see any problems doing that thing, especially that they asked permission to it's owner also it promotes the tourism in that place, it's the mines view park, banaue.

mmmmmmmm. a violation of culture?
the definition of culture is as follows: The arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.
look at the key words at the end, "regarded collectively" their culture has not stopped. they are constantly and ever evolving. so you cannot violate something that is constantly evolving. all they did was walk on a path that is still being built. so they did not violate anything. i would give anything to be able to join the RedBull team and achieve a tiny amount of what these men have. and the fact that yall are arguing and fighting about what has happened you should be more happy that we live in a world that has come as far as we have. yes we have and have had many many issues, and we will always have issues. i honestly think the reason most of yall are upset about this is strictly because these men are living their dreams every day, they have succeeded at grasping life for what it is. and you on the other hand are miserable in your own life. too scared and afraid of walking alone towards your goal. or perhaps to take that leap of faith towards a future you would love. if more people lived like these men and women our world would soon be great. we would have teachers that genuinely love to teach, we would have musicians and philosophers and pilots and so on and so on. instead we have millions of people who fell into a life style to survive and get by with the minimum, and not that their waste of life is the worst part, the worst part is that they have taught that to their children and have slowly bred a society of compromises and laziness. instead of seeking and pursing a life of love. -
Only one jump?

"a wake skating paradise, that no one knew about" what a moronic jackass, you didn't discover water filled terraces

There's nothing wrong with this video. He wouldn't be allowed without asking permission. To all Filipinos, MIND YOUR CORRUPT POLITICIANS instead of bashing this FOREIGN MAN that is promoting your OWN country.

This is insane

"I wanted to see the exotic Philippines, the jewel of Southeast Asia. I wanted to meet interesting and stimulating people of an ancient culture and... rape their lands. I wanted to be the first kid on my block to get a confirmed selfie while surfing one of the most delicate ecosystems in the world. Yeah, fuck the poor! I paid them."

0:26 How stupid you can look in between native people with your silly baseball cap and disposable can of Red Bull full of chemical shit.
-
Promote thru sports.
I think no harm done,he had a wonderful day. -
He can't do that without the permission of the Ifugao... Well, i think its ok, one way of promoting our country especially the rice terraces as one of the eight wonders of the world...
