VLOG 9 | Philippines - Rice Farm, Basketball, and Birthday Party!

Hey there, welcome to the third and final video of the mass upload. Be sure to stay tuned until next Thursday for my next video. I will still be uploading videos about the Philippines for that one as well! I will say that in this video, it'll show one of my favorite experiences of being in the Philippines. While I do enjoy the rice farm for its calming green beauty and my sister's party was definitely one to remember, Barrio Basketball is close to my heart and here's why: In my family, basketball was always really important to us. My dad runs his own basketball coaching program and all my siblings and I were his players at one point. Every weekend, the entire family would pile in the car and go to our tournaments together. Basketball was our life and perhaps I didn't realize until now how much of a great bonding experience it was to have everyone together all at once. Unfortunately, time passes on, I developed more interests and we all developed different schedules so there were never a lot of opportunities for us kids to hang out together. However, Barrio Basketball brought us back together. My siblings played as teammates and I helped coach a little. On top of that, it gave us the unique opportunity to interact with some of the locals and our cousins. ------ Find me on social media!
