During my trip to Vietnam I was able to visit a few local betta breeders in my home town. Mr. Dong is the guy name and he has been breeding bettas for the last 25 years. His growth out clay pots are filled with water taken directly from the river or from rain barrels. Majority of his broods are plakats, some crowntail and halfmoon, I was hoping for some wild bettas from the rice paddy but this is the dry season so no luck.
