Hello! how are you? I want to teach English in Shanghai but I have some worries. Would you recommend teaching High School? Do I have to know Mandarin? I've heard I don't need a teaching degree; is it true? Also, I have plans of marrying my boyfriend, Yu Jian and living permanently in China- Will i need a different kind of visa when we marry or will I gain citizenship? Can I still be deported if my working contract is up or will I get to stay with him? Thank you so much for your time!

I thought you could work as a student as along as you filled out the right form and don't work over a certain number of hours.
