Now, some good news for Vietnamese mango growers. Mangoes grown in the South of Vietnam have been approved to enter the Japanese market. According to the recent memorandum of cooperation, Japan will assist Vietnam in improving the agro-produce-and-food value chain so that Vietnamese agro-forestry and seafood products would have access to the Japanese market. By the close of the first working day, the two countries agreed to open the Vietnamese market to Japanese apples, as well as open the Japanese market to Vietnamese mangoes from Sept 17th.
