Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has inaugurated a multi-million dollar rice mill, which is set to transform the rice cultivation in the country by producing 10,000 tonnes of rice per annum. The project is a result of a partnership between some foreign partners and the Fievie traditional area, setting the pace for what has become known as Community-Private Partnership. Mr Amissah-Arthur was optimistic that, the single largest rice project will help achieve Ghana's food sufficiency and security.
