US farm bill might hinder Vietnamese catfish imports - Source VTV4

Last week, the U.S president Barack Obama signed the Agriculture Act of 2014 into law. This Farm Bill stipulates that catfish imported into the U.S. would have to meet the same technical standards as U.S. raised catfish. Many Vietnamese exporters worry that once the new legislation takes effect, it will hinder the entry of Vietnamese catfish into the North American market.
