2. I've used this before outside, but mixed with manure tea (I don't have room for compost). It's wonderful stuff, and my tomatoes that year were just popping off the bush. Was crazy.
   
   I think I'd use the same mixture this year on my chili plants (if they freaking germinate).
3. Add a little sugar or molasses to your worm tea for a little extra jolt of micro goodness :)
4. Great ! I read the nitrogen in urine is in a form readily available for the plant, when some others nitrogen sources have to breakdown. Also it's very volatile and the nitrogen is "gone" in 2 or 3 days because it reacts with air , that's why you have to keep it sealed in bottle or container if you use it every week or so , otherwise it loses its potency.

6. While using urine for the Npk would you need to worry about salt levels your adding to your plants?
7. when i was younger i was narrow minded cause this is how i was programmed to be..the people around me didnt accept new ''radical'' ideas easily cause they were just relying on what they knew, they are the kind of people who say ''if it works why change it''. new ideas cause stress so most people will not change since they feel safe on what they know. thank god i got away from them
   
   i started an aquaponics system and i decided to cycle it without the fish (so i wouldnt kill them since i was a biginner). the various guides said that i had to buy from the store urea or ammonia....and then all of a sudden a guy in a forum proposed ''screw that i aint buying anything i pee plenty of urea everyday''
   
   at first i was like ''what the hell is this guy talking about''  then i thought wait a minute he is right...the fully cycled system will run on urine and feces of the fish so why not use my own FREE urine to cycle it until then.
   
   and if u analyze it a bit further..when we need fertilizers for our plants we go to the stores and buy packaged animal shit...so......why this idea is wrong?

8. Urea plus cellulose=humic acid.   Dump urine/water on a hay bale and it turns into black compost like magic, the best potting soil ever.

   What is the source of that information?  If you view the source below, you will see that urine has 9.3g/L of urea-N.

   Since urine has a density of ~1019g, that means the N component is ~.9% by weight.  An NPK of 11-1-2 means the N component is 11% by weight of the fertilizer.  Something doesn't jibe with that information
10. My friends make sure they pee on the same bush in my yard every time they are over. This bush is now 1/3 bigger then the other 3 beside it. I don't eat or drink this plant though.
11. You are correct sir. As long as your diet is good and you are not on drugs then human urine is very safe as a fertilizer. I have used urine as a fertilizer for many years and I am very healthy 60 year old. No tumors here :) only good health.

    I am a meat eater, so do not get the wrong idea here...but I would not use any product, waste or otherwise form a carnivore or omnivore on plants that are intended for consumption.  I know many have differing views...but...I do not see plants eating meat by products (ok ok  I know about some rare plants that do) in nature..but certainly NOT tomatoes, beans,corn, peppers, etc... Up to you....but the idea not to spend money and to not add chemicals is right on !
14.  In Southeast Asia the native people to that area put their own dung in the their gardens rice mostly to fertilize!

17. Thank you very much, now i know why when I use urine to fertilize my vegetables using sprayer there is no damage from insects. rather than when I use to use chemical fertilizer, i have to spray my vegetables with insecticide.
    
    I really wonder there is very little insects in my vegetables. Thanks for that information. Just FYI I add 1tbsp powdered lime to 3½gal of 1:4 ratio of urine and water. And the growth of my vegetables [specially] leafy greens are better than normal. 
18.  oh yeah that's a good idea... I will grow some vegetables in a fertilizer made from my own urine then feed it to some unsuspecting victim and watch them eat my piss..... that's great idea.. come over my place for a nice healthy organic lunch....
19. You're not brewing anything, you're soaking soil/worm castings. You have to feed the microbes in order for them to multiply, hence most people use molasses. You may as well pee on your worm bed and shovel it on your garden...
20. Thanks for the video! I just collected some rain water from a ditch behind my house, urinated in it, and was thinking of adding some of my compost soil to it with a funnel, then shake it up a bit and add to my indoor pot plants. You think this will suffice for now or should I just add my comp;ost soil directly to the plants? Also I would like to know if there is such a thing as a submersible pump like what you have in this video that can be syphoned, and allowed to flow freely without the need for adding an electical output to it? Just a thought. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
