Hydroponics in urban areas creates lots of harmful effect on human community like coming of insects , but it is not a big problem ,the main problem with hydroponics is it is not a cost effective concept

The issue with hydroponics is that you have to pay for "plant food" or nutrients and supplements which are costly.
