Farmers in Ukambani counties are diversifying the growing of cereals for the Yellow Passion fruit, which is giving them more profits for their efforts. The farmers have had poor harvests of maize and beans crops, which have traditionally been grown in the region. The farmers grow their crop individually at their farms, but come together in groups to pool their fruits together for marketing to fetch better prices.
