Twinings Tea Tasters - Okayti White Darjeeling Loose Tea
https://www.twinings.co.uk/tea-club/okayti-white-darjeeling - A Tasting Class for Okayti White Darjeeling Loose Tea. This is a refreshing, well balanced and superbly luxurious white tea with soft citrus undertones. The name "white tea" derives from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant, which give the plant a whitish appearance. The reason behind this name change? The answer lies in the plantation’s rich royal history. Apparently, when this tea was served at Buckingham Palace it was called an ‘Okay tea’ which became the ‘Okayti’ we know today. http://www.twinings.co.uk - THE destination for anything tea! Great description of this tea I wish I could get more involved into tea but it's hard to find a work in there. Discovery of the week for me was the Castleton Moonlight a Oolong from Darjeeling which is pretty uncommon but such a nice taste of grape and yellow fruit and keeping the caracter of the first flush Darjeeling a true pleasure =D
