HI Summer. Thought you were Helen when I came across your video. I love seeing people trying the fruits I grew up with. In Trinidad and Tobago we do many things with ambarella. We call it pommecythere. When it's not ripe we mix it with salt, pepper, garlic, culantro and hot pepper. When it's ripe we peel and eat it or rub a little salt then rinse and eat it. Rambutan has been introduced here. We don't have mangosteen yet. We do have sapodilla (one of my favorites). We just break it or cut it in half and eat it out of the skin. we also make pies with it and some of our local organic soap makers use the ground up seeds to make their artisanal soaps
