A super easy way to make new blackberry plants is to stack 2 together: i've done it here: https://youtu.be/_sOiBsPPUhE
The roots grow into the bottom pot, separate them and you have new plants. Do you happen to have any seeds of the triple crown blackberry? Would that work well to make new plants? Thanks! -
Can I plant in buckets and leave in buckets? If I plant them in 5 or 15 gallons will they survive in there and just vine out?
-
ive dug up a bunch of blackberry suckers and rooted them in pots. planted most of them. i do have 2 still in pots that are ready to plant, theyve started hardening up, stems turning to wood, and no growth for the winter. i am in NY, snow is weeks away from falling. should i plant them in the ground w no time left for them to get used to being in the ground or should i bring them inside and plant them in the spring thaw..dont want to kill them if they cant survive the winter...can you advise me please?

I've got four Thorn less plants from Burgess, 3 are started the fourth is struggling but green with finger nail test. The trouble is there were purple leaves last time but their gone, so that one may die. What's my game? I'm north of Brainerd, the wild west so enjoy them and insulate them with hay and plastic over winter

+TexasPrepper2 Are you selling these? If so, how much per plant?

Great video. I wonder if you might answer a question for me? I just harvested two blackberry plants about the same size as the one in this video and they started wilting pretty quickly. These blackberries grow along the tree line of a golf course and they are delicious so I figured I should bring some plants home. The soil was pretty rocky so it took about 10 minutes to get them out but then I put them right into a bucket and covered the roots with their own soil and then drove 25 minutes home and promptly planted them and watered them. They were already wilting in the car and are still like that. Is this normal? Will they recover? Yours still seem so perky in the pots. Thanks

the one you cut with the machete looks a lot like the ones at the store, like somebody has cut them. With these plants will they grow any taller or is that cane basically useless you just need it to start a new root system?

I can't believe how casual you were about the fire ants. I'm from Illinois and I've never been stung by them but they are so notorious that I think I would run if I saw a bunch come up out of the ground like that in front of me lol

What is your location? I would love to get some of the thornless.
