The shrimp farmers of Bangladesh
The regulated sector of the shrimp industry in Bangladesh is transforming its production methods, with the spread of food safety management. In partnership with government, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, UNIDO, is training shrimp farmers in best practice, involving the use of pure organic feed, and strict monitoring, hygiene and traceability systems.
