Documentary explores the canvas of tea farming in Pakistan and seeks questions about the current government facility where government researches on Tea and process the tea from its own grown plants and the plucked leaves bought by the farmers. National Tea Research Institute, spread over and area of 60 acres in the government initiative tasked to conduct research for tea plantation and produce tea, so Pakistan which now has become third largest importer of tea, can save the amount spent in importing tea. NTRI or National Tea Research Institute is over 20 years old institute which has so far not been able to produce enough tea that Pakistan can cut its import cost. Even After 20 years the institute is merely producing fifty to sixty thousand kilograms of tea per year. This is not even a one percent of the current demand of country, according to statistics of the institute itself, one person consumes 1 kilos of tea per year which makes very easy to assume that a country in which everyone drinks tea two times a day.
