Long live to the Zulues!Afrikaners pirates and killers!Greetings from Buenos Aires.Argentina.

Afrikaners, not Boers thank you.
-
Why did these people not teach their children to speak Afrikaans? :(
-
Ons kom weer Afrikaans praat , ons is op pad.
-
As an Afrikaner I find their accents fascinating. They sound like my (now dead) rural grandparents and grand uncles and aunts. We should send them some Kyknet shows, or if they have Internet access maybe they can subscribe to ShowMax (a South African Netflix-type service) with its Afrikaans content.

The end of this trailer :')... "I'm a South African first"

Die man se hart soek dit swaar.

We moved to Chile (from South Africa) nine years ago. We plan to visit Sarmiento and Comodoro Rivadavia early in 2015. Ons sien baie uit daarna!

Is it time for the Boere Africans to move again to enjoy there freedom and go and save the Language in Argentina.

Marko, what he said is falsehood. He is incapable of caring about facts, only for his own agenda, which is murder. One of my friends, Rico Fourie, is proud to have Portuguese ancestors. Many South Africans have French names, both family and Christian names, because Huguenots were a major component of the original settlers. And there are many Italians. There are blue eyed blonds (that's what I am), but many Afrikaners have darker hair, eyes, and often skin.

God grant that the film is a great success.

The Dutch migrated to south Africa and now their decendents moving to other places.

Okay, this is messed up. I know Tony Leon, then SA ambassador to Argentina, reached out to them, but the S.A. government could have done more to help preserve their culture, heritage and language. Better yet, give the old folks S.A passports and let them come to S.A. to see their extended families. Their roots are in South Africa, so technically they are still South African. Heck, I'm sure raising money for their trip to S.A. would not be a problem if you were to share their story with Afrikaners in S.A.

Where can one go to see the documentary in Cape Town - gathering it's all finished and released by now?

Very rare to see something about these Boer descendants as 1 always knows the history but never hears anything of them BUT listening to them also brings up many questions. Firstly how is it that they speak "Afrikaans" when the Boers never called their language Afrikaans and "Afrikaans" only became a language after these people had already left. Would really be interesting to hear more of these people before they all gone.
