Instead of running behind the smart cities, nuclear deal, NJAC, Rafale Deal and etc the govt would have put some more attention on agriculture to stop the farmers suicides. Really what farmers are expecting from the govt is revised Minimum Supply Price nothing else than this. The administration is utterly failed to stop the third parties involvement who are purchasing crop from the farmers at cheaper cost, as farmers does not have cold storage systems and most of the farmers taken the loans from the third party people at higher interest rates.

Such a poor show for an acute crisis. Looks like host hasn't clear idea of the magnanimity of the crisis.

Indian Bank's NPA has been rising gradually, most of which is owed to the lagging infrastructure projects. If this land acquisition bill is not passed and farmers are not incentivised to take up jobs in manufacturing and service sectors, bad loans would keep on rising and with frequent waivers and dole outs, inflation would rise up again then again farmers and so called middle class would commit suicide. The politicans of our country would just be talking in platitudes even then, I don't think we can see an opposition in this country which can play a constructive role.
