Thailand Frog Farms
All These frogs were bought off the back of a truck, The price depends on the size of the frog, The small tad poles are 2 baht each and the price goes up as they turn into frogs and get bigger. Wild frogs are very easy to get in the rice fields during the rainy season but there are none during the dry season.

I'm looking to film a frog farm like this in Thailand, would you be able to let me know where it is?
-
Yes, they're cute and should NOT be eaten!: )

Hej, wintery guy! Ilike little frog fellas going about their business too!/Anders%Froggi :) :)

Are they dark brownish? I have sometimes brown what I believe to be fat, roundish toads in my garden. Sometimes they try to hump in through the door, but then I take a brush or board and throw them far out again. Don't like the look of them, probably toads!: )

My sister in law just north of Phan tried raising frogs along with everybody else, and the only guy that made any money was the frog food man. It was like raising chinchillas.

LOL! I haven't see any chopped rat, but I'm not surprised. Out in the boonies of Saraburi, some of the local mom and pop shops have bbq'd rat-on-a-stick though. A bit on the spendy side, but some of the locals seem to love it. Early one morning, the grandkids, nieces and nephews led me through a short cut through a banboo patch to one of the shops where they were cleaning the day's fresh supply of rats.

Tastes like chicken

That's true, not to mention my wife eats nearly anything and everything. She won't eat insects though. As for me, there are some Thai treats I'll pass on.

The small, pale ones? I've never noticed that, but I'm sure your right. My thai girlfriend is more worried about ants, every time I spill some crumbles from food or something, she asks: "Do you want to feed the ants, do you want ants to come?"Hehe: )

Are these meant to sell for food at market? I wonder if Thais eat the whole frog, or just the legs, as farang do.
-
Same as those small black crabs, everything but the shell. Not much goes to waste with ducks and chickens too. Heads, feet, beaks, eyeballs.

I saw a lady in Laos who caught those cute little lizards that fly up and down the walls, and fried them in oil alive! Apparently they were tasty, but I didn't taste them, I love the little fellows running around alive! : )

Swimming with the frogs....great !! LOL If you could stand all the croaking at night I'll bet that many frogs in one place is great for bug control.
