On the North-West side of Lombok, in a large bay called Teluk Nara a full cycle Pearl Farm accepts visitors that not only can see in the elegant Show Room the beautiful juwels that can be made with and around pearls, but also learn the complex techniques that are required to generate them. They include a Plancton lab, an oyster hatchery, an operating room and the long lines, set up in the clear water of the bay, where the seeded oysters will stay for two/three years until the pearls they generate are ready to be harvested.
