Tea Picking Golden Triangle Thailand

This plantation is one of only a few that does not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The tea grown here is two varieties, Oolong 12 and Oolong 17 both are grown wild natural with other sacrificial plants grown between the trees that are preferred by insects. In addition thousands of praying Mantis have been transplanted here that seem to feast on the other insects. All in all it works and one ends up with clean natural tea. The children from the local village help out with the picking and earn some good pocket money every 55 - 60 days. Nice people great tea !
