Jalpaiguri, April 06 (ANI): A massive storm destroyed several mud houses and caused damage to tea plantation in Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal. Many tea gardens in north Bengal have been ruined in the storm incurring huge losses to farmers. Crops in neighbouring areas of Dhupguri, Malbazar and Dooars were also affected in the storm. Hundreds of trees and electricity poles were uprooted in the storm. These trees blocked roads, resulting in massive traffic jams in the area.
