Tea Board Of Kenya Kericho Marathon

The 2012 Stanchart Nairobi marathon champion Alice Chelagat scooped 1.5million shillings, after winning this year's tea board of Kenya international marathon held in Kericho. However there was no clear winner in the men's category after two athletes claimed to have won the prestigious race. Gilbert Kiptum was the first to cross the line but it later emerged that athletes who were leading after the 21 km mark were misdirected and ended up running 52 kilometers instead of the usual 42.
