This video captures the experiences of farmers from the northern parts of Bangladesh and eastern Terai of Nepal who have started to grow rice varieties that are tolerant to submergence. These varieties were developed under the project, Stress-Tolerant Rice for poor farmers in Africa and South Asia. Also featured are interviews of farm technicians and extension workers and their suggestions on how to further accelerate the dissemination and adoption of these varieties.
