Those taste like a mix between a fig and plum

sometimes you can find these trees on the street or in the mall parking lot. only the soft red ones are good. my old company have lots of these trees and i used to pick them for my mom and myself. i told people they're edible but they were too chicken to try.

strawberries don't grow on trees normally - Looks like a lychee
-
My school has arbutus trees i always wondered if the fruits are edible
-
I just found one of these trees while walking in my neighborhood. I posted a picture of the fruit on Instagram and someone identified it which led me here. I might try to get enough and make a jam but those small seeds are irritating.

Arbutus unedo is best not eaten when it is red, but when it is sunset orange colour. I find the fruits to be flavourless if left to ripen. The taste when you pick them at this sunset orange colour is much like a nectarine. The skin is a bit gritty but I just eat the whole thing. They grow wild in North Wales, UK, in a place called Llandudno.

I fucking love these, I forages so many in the Judean hills outside of Jerusalem.

it can be pickled sweet. ..it turned into dark colour..sweet taste. this is available in far east n chins as sweet pickle candy.
-
looks like a mini bumpy peach

Hi, they are eaten in Spain, and with the skin, not a popular fruit, tho. I do like when they are very ripe, as they remind me of a bit of jam. :) They contain a bit of alcohol, so if you eat a lot of them you can become a bit "drunk" or "happy" hhhh
-
You can eat the skin; delicious!
-
they are even in new zealand
-

Might be a good fruit for the Zombie Apocalypse.

We have this tree in our yard, it's quite large and has a beautiful trunk. Nice to know the fruit is edible. Thanks for the video!
