9. very good story....i left in 81 for the states--plano ko 2 yrs lang, ipon lang ako ng 20thousand dollars uuwi na ako... nagka anak at apo na ako....pero andito pa rin ako.....malungkot dahil parang may blanko sa buhay ko...pero ganyan ang buhay nating pilipino....but i am planning a long vacation to pinas..and i will visit this place....i will only visit Marcos country,cause i know its safe and clean --and i like ilocano hospitality...they are known all over the world for their welcoming hospitality..

16. I need your advice, as you know, I am hoping to move t the Philippines, I hop make the move in July this year. I just have few questions. When I do move to the Philippines I am going to need to open a business at some point i am looking at about a year’s time. I currently have a construction and handyman business here. I am thinking of doing the same thing there in the Philippines, or open and run a Pub depending on the cost and law of opening a pub. I don’t plan on living in the cities but on the out skirts of town, I plan to work for a year as I learn about the Philippines the law of opening the business and the ideal place to do so. As well to do the research, i understand that i will need a Filipino partner for the business as well.
    I have met a girl on line who is from the Philippines working in over sea’s
    My questions are.
    1. Would a construction and business be a good business to start and run there?
    2. Do you think I would be able to get a job that can pay me enough to live for a year? (I don’t plan on having a high cost of living or eat out a lot).
    3. What kinds of jobs are fairly easy to get?
    4. Where do you think is the best place to start in the Philippines? I was thing of Cebu.

19. Such beautiful wonderful people. I have been to the Philippines twice. It is unfortunate that Filipinos that are their complexion are not displayed in the forefront like light skin Filipinos are. Their celebrities both leading men and women, their commercials, their talk shows, entertainment programs with singing and dancing, television soap operas, news anchor... the vast majority of them are all light skinned Filipinos. Why is that the case?
