Special Report - Gateway to ASEAN: Myanmar (आसियान का द्वार: म्यानमार)

Rajya Sabha TV team visited Myanmar to understand the intricate relations between India and Myanmar of over more than a century. There had been many ups and downs in the relationship between the two nations and it was virtually a test of India's foreign policy on the counts of ideology and pragmatism. India upported Aung San Suu Kyi and also made good relations with the Military Junta when it changed itself in democratic structure. Now Suu Kyi is active in politics and the party based democracy in Mynmar is taking roots. Located at the strategic location between India and China, Myanmar wants to be the gateway of India for both ASEAN and China. Anchor: Akhilesh Suman
