Spanish Pig Farms | An Animal Equality Documentary

1. Cruelity towards animals is a gateway of satan's abode. Killing animal in the name of all things is a doubtless sin. To a civilized, scientifically civilized community ahimsa is the gateway of eternal peace, Nirvana
2. Sad to see this, and have known about such conditions of factory farming for some time. All meat packaging should clearly display whether the meat is "Factory Farmed" or "Free Range", the same as when you buy eggs which are "Free Range" as opposed to "Caged Hens". This would completely change buying habits and help stop the surge of factory farming.  The same labeling should apply to GMO produce. Also, there should be much tougher regulations and quality assurances to well-being on these farms. For a start, gestation crates should be banned outright. Factory Farming is no doubt a by-product of the capitalist society we live in, where doing things cheaply for maximum profits with as little regard to health, well-being or decency is usually the case.

4. Dear god. I mean, yes they are food. I get it, i eat this, but for fuck sake. Kill the fucking animal with some manner. Painless and shit. This is just disturbing.

   Halal and Kosher practices should be outlawed not only here in the UK by all western nations should outlaw them. Those practices are most brutal and the animals are also kept as badly as the films you have shown highlight.
   
   We all need to stop industrialized farming and one way to do this is to stop going into these big commercial fast food places like McDonalds and Burger King and Wendy's or what ever major food-chain you have in your country.
   These industrial farms are a result of our laziness, our apathy and our careless lives and attitudes. They will carry on supplying our demand, thus these animals will carry on being treated so badly.
   
   I'm not an advocate for meat free diets, I love steak, i love chicken and i love pork, but then again, i thankfully have the benefit of living in a part of the country (in the UK) that still has traditional farming and the farm is open to the public (i go there to buy things a few times a year) and the farm is also open to schools for the children to go see the animals and learn things about them and farming.
   
   The problem is industrial farming, stop it by stopping eating from fast food places.

A badly produced video-the background music is louder than the voice of the commentator & her pronunciation & level of sound needs lots to  be desired.This was filmed in a badly managed Spanish pig farm where cruelty & ill treatment is the order of the day.In what way we humans are superior to animals if we treat these hapless creatures in the way that is shown in this video?!A farm with good sanitation & medical care can only make good profits.I wonder why govt's farm inspectors allow these farms to function at all & why should people consume meat from these farms?Also why can't we  become vegetarians, so that we can avoid not only cruelty to animals but also diseases from meat consumption!

19. Thanks for posting this terrible video. I knew it was bad to raise pigs in those industrial farms. this is why I am vegetarian, but I never watched such an intense report. It makes you hate the whole humanity!!!
