SOLAR DEEP WELL WATER PUMPING PHILIPPINES
We have built this project to pump the water from deep well by using DC solar pump directly connected to the solar panels. No other equipment such as batteries, charge controllers, inverters been used. This is a very simple plug and play system and anyone with little knowledge of wire connections can setup this system easily.

I have a pump filling roof tanks at a mission in Peru. It is a large component of our electric bill and gets its signal to turn on or off from a float switch in the roof tank. Can I isolate this pump to get its power from a solar array like this and still have it work with the float switch? Does the pump need to be DC only? What if the panels used inverters to make AC ?

@Rachel Manalo, we used 10 pcs. 50w solar panels (total 500w) and a 20m head solar pump. this system does not required any other equipment.
