This video portrays one of WISIONS' SEPS projects in India. The aim was to provide rural villages in the Kalahandi district of Odisha, India with reliable energy produced by a small wind-hydro hybrid system. Implementation partners were Practical Action and Gram Vikas. Besides installing two wind-solar hybrid energy systems to demonstrate the technology as a reliable energy source in the region, a diverse range of capacity building and hands-on training activities has been carried out to ensure the long-term operation of the system.
