Scientists Think COCKROACH MILK Could be the Superfood of the Future
A group of scientists have found that one particular of species of cockroach called Diploptera punctata, or the Pacific Beetle cockroach, produces a special protein crystal (to feed their babies) that has 4 times as much energy than cow's milk. They call it the protein a 'complete food' and believe that it could the next big 'superfood'. In parts of China, consuming cockroaches for their health benefits is not a strange thing. Many peope have been eating cockroaches for years, and companies purchase them in bulk to create medical drugs to treat anything from blood clots and gastroenteritis to tuberculosis and heart disease. Cockroach farming for medical usage is a multi-million dollar industry in China right now. However, these scientists are taking it a step further and trying to isolate and re-engineer the 'milk' produced from the Pacific Beetle roach because is the only species of cockroach known to be viviparous -- able to hatch live babies that have developed within the mother's body, instead of the mother laying eggs to develop outside her body. Afraid there are cockroaches down in the south bay. Never encountered any up in San Francisco, but down here in San Jose we've started to have a problem with them this year, after the neighbors across the road fumigated and they probably just ran our way.

1000000% Team Dan, OH MY GOD, i am so afraid of them, so afraid, i shut down when i see one and i can't go near them i'll start crying i can't, and it's exactly because of Mikes experience, when i was little we had a big roach infestation in our house it only went away when we changed out kitchen furniture because they had made their little houses there, but they were all over the house, there were nights i didn't want to sleep because i was afraid one would crawl on me, omg i'm getting all twitchy just speaking of this, and that recently we has a new infestation (different house) and nopenopenope, i was so not gonna deal with it, i said that if one of the went into my room i would go sleep at my grandmas until the house was okay, my dad called services to come take care of the business and we've been fine (thank god). But still, when i see one on the streets i have a heart attack and just walk so freaking fast, i am even afraid to kill them i can't even be near them!

In my old place I was going to go to bed but I stayed up to watch YouTube for no reason I just felt like I wanted to & 14 minutes in I felt something touching my neck & I went to feel it. & I started hearing this giant buzz. Instantly my mind went through many thoughts & I quickly threw it to the ground I quickly turned on the lights & I was right & it was a big cockroach I tried to get a piece of paper but it flew onto it & I got so scared & dropped it. I was lucky I didn't sleep or it might have got onto my face or into my mouth (0~0)

I would eat and drink cockroach milk. I already do because I eat chocolate and there are bugs in chocolate from the coco beans. If you've ever eaten colocate you've eaten bugs.
I've eaten a real big tho, from those lollipops, a scorpion and a cricket, the scorpion just tasted like a potato chip but the cricket tasted like raw meat it was really gross. I'd eat scorpion but not cricket. -
