Well the land requirement varies on how fertile your soil is. Some places an acre is enough and some places its 2 acres. However, you will only know after you try, some even get as much as 12 tones/acre. Yes. " lactic acid bacillus" -chemical is 100 rs....we need one gram per each ton of fodder..molasses or jaggery, salt, mineral mixture (You get this at the vet/ seed store or from expert silage makers) @ one kg per ton.

are you sure that lactic acid bacillus have to be used 1 grm/tonne? seems bit confusing. what to you mean by mineral mixture and could you please tell me how much land is required to crop corn for 6 tonne silage?

6 tons is sufficient for 100 goats for 30 days. However, the silage expires in 30 days. I suggest filling the silage only 75% to the max limit, around 4 tons.

It depends how much can you save on your feed. It should range from 20%-30%

Well the validity of the silage is 30days from when you open it. The goat consumption per day is 2%-3% of its body weight. I recommend 1kg three times a day and you will still be left with 1500kgs of silage.
