Russia: British tea lovers to get a taste of Russian tea

Russian tea manufacture, Matsestinsky Tea, announced that they will soon dispatch their first shipment of tea to the United Kingdom from the Krasnodarskyi region of Sochi, Tuesday. The Matsestinsky Tea company will deliver their products to the UK as soon as they agree with the purchaser on quantity and assortment. The company is also expecting to receive orders from Germany, Austria and Israel. Tea has been grown in this area since 1947, but its flavour has only recently become valued worldwide. The company has won several international awards, as well as being added to the British Guild list of high-quality goods manufacturers in 2016. SOT, Konstantin Turshu, Chairman of the board at Matsestinsky Tea (Russian): "This is the northernmost tea in the world which is produced on an industrial scale. Due to the fact that the leaf has a longer growing season than those in Asian countries, our leaf is more fragrant, tastier and healthier. It has a higher content of antioxidants, what all manufactures fight for. It has a higher content of tannin which gives a nice invigorating effect to our tea."
