We grow hundreds of types of trees and shrubs in several other states beside in Fountainville. One of our most popular types of trees we grow are Green Giant Arborvitae. Highland Hill Farm has been growing arborvitae since the farm has started. The Green Giant Arborvitae is an excellent plant for blocking neighbors without forfeiting much of your back yard for the plant to grow on. It also is easy to transplant and grow. We grow and sell many sizes and also have other types of arborvitae for sale as well. An adaptable plant it tolerates a wide range of soil and hardiness zones and is not troubled by significant pest or disease problems. The Green Giant is ornamentally appealing as a single specimen, as a screen, or as a living frame for your special landscape. The Green Giant was recognized as the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Gold Medal Plant Award for 1998. The Green Giant is a vigorously growing, pyramidal evergreen with rich green color that remains outstanding throughout hardiness range. This plant has dense, rich green, scale like foliage in flattened sprays borne on horizontal to ascending branches; good winter color except, perhaps, in the southeast american states. It has no serious pest or disease problems and has been widely grown and tested in commercial nursery production. The Green Giant is an excellent substitute for Leyland cypress. This Plant is planted 1.5 to 3 meters apart in rows for screening. It is also deer resistant except not deer proof. We sell these trees from 0.3 meters tall liners to 7 meter tall specimens. These trees can be planted in partial shade, in clay soils, and sandy soils. http://www.digatree.com/Fire_18901.html http://www.digatree.com/Burn.html http://www.digatree.com/Burning.html http://www.digatree.com/Yellow.html http://www.digatree.com/Home_Bigfoot.html http://www.digatree.com/Wanted_Land.html http://www.digatree.com/Massive_Fire.html dawn redwood care, dawn redwood cones, dawn redwood Cincinnati, dawn redwood cuttings, dawn redwood cultivars, dawn redwood china, dawn redwood cost, dawn redwood cypress, dawn redwood Colorado, dawn redwood cultivation, dawn redwood deer, dawn redwood disease, dawn redwood discovery, dawn redwood drought tolerance, dawn redwood deciduous conifer, dawn redwood deciduous, dawn redwood dwarf, dawn redwood dying, dawn redwood drought, dawn redwood description
