In this Video I grew Afgan Kush plants from seedling stage, all the way to the second week of flowering. I made a few mistakes along the way, but nothing to major. You live and learn. The Light In this Video I switched from CFL light to LED grow light. I have never used LEDs lights to grow before. The leds lights were bought on ebay. Theyre cheap, and manufactured in china. The power rating is 300 watts, although they only use 160 watts of electricity. The soil I found that Fox farm ocean Forest is heavier than roots organic and miracle grow, I think this was to due to the sand it contains. Fox farm also retains water really well. The weight of the soil and the water holding capacity would make this an excellent out door potting soil, in my opinion. Roots organic was really light , and dried out quickly. It was also the the plant that was biggest and best developed. Miracle Gro was not bad once I added perlite to it. This plants is this soil showed signs of deficiencies in the 2nd week of flowering. Over all it was a good experiment but nowhere near perfect. I would need to try it again with more plants. This time the plants would have to be clones. This is one of my older videos.
