You hear that noise?? That is the sound of illegal aliens labor being rendered obsolete! :D I'm glad to see those obnoxious illegals "placing a high value on their own labor" will be deported forever.

Cool machine and people don't have to bend down all day long. Not a robot though.

I was just reading through all these comments yet I bet none of you are farmers. It's very easy to hop on the bandwagon and start saying that machines are taking jobs ect, yet who's jobs are they actually taking? They are taking the migrant workers who are soon to be forced to come here and work legally. Any and everyone on this thread that speaks, reads and writes english that posted about taking people jobs is crazy. Never in a million years would any of you be doing the jobs the migrant workers are taking and or losing because of this automated harvesting machine. Long story short farming is getting expensive and with minimum wage going up and 80 hr work weeks getting reduced to 40, farmers are forced to find ways to be more efficient!

machine is taking over all the jobs. I hate it!!!

Don't have multiple children.

Caesar Chavez has achieved his goal

does the robot have to pay taxes or this just means a higher deductible for everyone else?

Future Workers will have to learn how to fix robots and machines to make a decent living.
In a 100 yrs no civil rights, no property rights, everybody living in 50,000 appartment high rises, special permission to travel outside of city, all undeveloped and forested land will be off limits to regular citizens and only elite will travel freely. Thanks to Ted Turner, Bill Gates, and the environmentalists. -
Here is the problem. When machines and robots take over where will people work? How will people pay the bills? Housing and food will have to be alot cheaper in the future. Everyone will be poorer all because taxes force companies to create machines and eliminate workers.

Funny how they say, 'a job nobody wants.' Was he hinting that he was a nobody? I used to pick and plant pineapples for $3.35 an hour. I really was a nobody back then : )
