So insightful! Awesome content

That ride-on device saves a lot of back-breaking work. But they aren't doing the One Straw Revolution version by Fukuoka Masonobu...

the rice shoots that they plant, where do they come from?
-
nice and efficient ^^

It is wonderful to see how these rice planting machines have progressed. They're small and sophisticated these days and seen everywhere. When I lived in Japan over 30 years ago it was heart breaking to see those hunched over obaasans who had ruined their backs from decades of hand-planting rice.

i would like to work as a farmer in japan's country side, i like peace and quiet, and maybe marry some country japanese girl, yeeehaw!

These fields looked a big bigger at least. I wonder if it is all from one farmer or as always that they are all from different families. Planting such a field by hand, is something I cannot imagine. Just like the farmers on remote mountain flats (not visited one in Japan, but speaking of Switzerland and Austria). Backbreaking work with hand tools. I really envy them for the fresh air and the views, but not for the work.

What do you usually fly in? Piper or a Japanese made plane? I'm sure you've posted flying in a Cessna…
