I brought my family for a vacation in the Philippines last December, 2013 and it happens to be rice planting season in the same farm which was a big part of my childhood. It was a good opportunity to show this to my 3 kids and give them an idea of how things are done in the farm. To my delight, they really enjoyed the experience. This is a 10-min video of a group of farmers planting rice - the surprising variation is that the second farmer from left (looking at video) is singing and to her left is a guy beat-boxing to her singing. It's not recording-type performances but doing it in that setting or environment is what makes it impressive. I'm sure a lot of you who grew up in the farm have not seen this for a while. I hope you enjoy this.
