Rice in Budalangi
On a more positive note we feature rice growing in Budalang'i constituency in Busia County, an area that had become synonymous with annual flooding. But the floods are no more due to mitigation measures undertaken in recent years and what you find on the ground now is a busy community investing all their energies in rice growing besides other economic activities.
