I believe he meant the rice patties as in the growing surface/structure that man molest from the mountain side. To creat a platelike/bowl like feature in the mountain, in which it is then flooded, sowed with rice, and maintained. Rice patties or the schematics or the combination and creation of it that incorporates the man influenced mountain and the rice plant that doesnt grow there naturally. But a view of man and nature harmonizing is better than mountains of concrete...

@Royxu Even though most of that shit just sits on the surface of the plants/products, and is then washed away by simple processing, beats the fuck out of living in a mud shack, in the middle of no where, wondering if we'll eat well this year because we don't have the technology to know exactly what to plant this year and make a profit with. And how is depending on anti-biotics a bad thing? If we didn't, we'd all be dead from flus atm, LOL.
