Rice grower George Tibbitts on sustainability and drought

UC Davis alum George Tibbitts has worked closely with the Department of Plant Sciences faculty to take advantage of the latest research in rice farming. As a result, his Colusa County rice farm produces some of the best yields in California. These techniques have helped him through the current drought.
