Hi, thanks for watching my video Rice Farming: More Fun in the Philippines, I hope the translations helped! I never expected an expat to be documenting such. In behalf of my countrymen, I appreciate it a lot and thank you for appreciating our culture as well despite of the many traditional methods we still have caused by poverty. Very good video! Brief but very informative. Definitely my back was hurting the whole time I was transplanting the seedlings and I have never looked farmers and their livelihood the same way again. More respect to them and their source of livelihood. I hope you have enjoyed your time here in the Philippines and looking forward for your videos as well!

This reminded me of how it used to be in the farmlands out my front door. Now, with changing times, things have become more automated. Ford tractors are taking the place of the carabao. Rice planters are being used at planting time and at harvest time, they have reapers that come around. It takes a toll on the local labor that depended on the jobs that were provided during planting and harvesting. I wonder how long the area you are in Makoy will survive before technology takes over.

Hey makoy forget to add congrats to Leicester winning the title unbelievable from a Middlesbrough fan.
