Normally Paddy( Rice) is grown in flood irrigation and it requires heavy water, most of it go waste and also because of which soil nutrients and fertlizers are leached out. There is dry land variety ( Local) of Paddy( Rice) grown with Redgram ( Tur/Arhar) cultivated in Yadgir District of Karnataka State in India, which is shown in video in which 1 row is redgram and 4 rows are of paddy.
