Pruning Roses: Gardening Techniques for Hybrid Tea Rose Pruning to Make The Job Simpler
Pruning roses from rose book author Doug Green at http://www.simplegiftsfarm.com where he shows you everything you need to know about pruning hybrid tea roses. If you find this tip useful, I invite you to subscribe to my channel here http://www.youtube.com/user/headgardener2u/ Doug shows you how to think about your roses as upside down umbrellas when it comes to pruning and how much to cut off each cane and indeed even where to make the cut. In the process, he dispels some garden myths about pruning roses that deter beginning gardeners. Green's approach, "it's not rocket science" and if you make a mistake the plant will recover is aimed squarely at those rose gardening neophytes who are afraid of making a mistake and killing their roses. Not going to happen says Green. This short video will show you everything you need to know about pruning roses and it's done in Doug Green's normal off-the-cuff, and irreverent manner. Thanks for the kind words. Roses can be grown from seed, cuttings, grafts and sometimes division. it all depends on the variety. I've done it but don't do it commercially although I've written about it on my websites - url in the description box below the video. Do a search on that site at the bottom for what you want to know (the site is huge) :-)
